Frequently Asked Questions
Will the MR-16-ZD-50-W-FL fit a standard MR-16 fixture?
Yes. It is a GU5.3 bi-pin MR-16 lamp for 10–15V landscape fixtures that already take an MR-16. It replaces the halogen lamp. It does not include a fixture, stake, or transformer.
Can I dim the FX Luminaire MR-16-ZD-50-W-FL?
Yes, from a Luxor controller. The ZD lamp uses Luxor PWM for zoning and dimming. A standard MR-16 LED without ZD does not add Luxor zone control.
How bright is the MR-16-ZD-50-W-FL?
480 lumens, warm 2700K, 35° flood. It draws 6.5 VA and replaces about a 50W halogen MR-16. CRI is 84+.
What warranty applies to the MR-16-ZD-50-W-FL?
FX Luminaire publishes a five-year warranty on the ZD MR-16. Warranty terms are set by FX Luminaire; see the product literature or FX Luminaire's published warranty policy.
